Dr. Yunus to Visit New York on State Visit

Desk News: Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the interim government, is scheduled to visit New York on September 22nd to attend the United Nations General Assembly session.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Tawhid Hossain shared this information during a press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday afternoon (September 3rd).

He mentioned that Dr. Yunus’s visit will be very brief, lasting about five days in total, including the travel time.

It is noteworthy that this will be Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s first foreign visit since assuming the role of Chief Adviser.
